Cow loose on I-90 in Spokane blocks lanes, traffic backed up near Hamilton St. off-ramp

SPOKANE, Wash. – Several lanes are blocked and slow-moving on I-90 westbound near the Hamilton Street off-ramp after a black Angus cow got loose on the interstate, according to the Washington Department of Transportation (WSDOT) in a social media post.

“Heads up travelers we have a cow loose on I-90 westbound just before the Dickson St. off-ramp in Spokane. They’re trying to reload it back into the trailer. Currently you’re not moo-ving as all lanes are blocked.”

Currently, the westbound right lane and eastbound left lanes remain blocked.

Washington State Patrol is on the scene attempting to re-load the cow into its trailer…
