Construction to close part of West Maxwell Avenue in Spokane starting next week

SPOKANE, Wash. — A new construction project will impact traffic on part of West Maxwell Avenue in Spokane beginning Monday.

According to the city, West Maxwell Avenue between North Walnut Street and North Elm Street will be closed in both directions from August 25 through September 19 for traffic signal upgrades.
