Spokane schools make several upgrades for upcoming school year

SPOKANE, Wash. – Spokane Public Schools have been busy over the summer, making significant upgrades across the district to welcome students back.

Several schools in the area received new playgrounds, including Stevens, Jefferson, Wilson, and Bryant. These playgrounds now feature soft, all-weather surfaces to ensure student safety and easier maintenance. Shadle Park and Rogers schools have new track surfaces, enhancing sports facilities for students.

In addition to playground and track improvements, some schools have installed new play structures, hardwood courts, HVAC systems, roofing, and fresh paint jobs.
