SPOKANE, Wash. — Children of all ages now have the chance to climb, walk, rest and slide on a new natural play feature in Spokane’s Audubon Park.
The Jess Roskelley Foundation, with the help of a community grant from the Spokane Parks Foundation, created a new Rock Scramble play structure in the park. This structure features a series of boulders that have been created to form a unique natural play feature for children and families.
Spokane Parks Foundation says this structure is the second phase of a new play area honoring Jess’s legacy. Jess was a Spokane native and an international elite alpinist.
