Spokane, WA – Residents across Eastern Washington and the Idaho Panhandle should prepare for showers and thunderstorms Thursday evening into overnight, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Spokane.
Forecasters said the highest chances for storms are in southeast Washington and the Idaho Panhandle, with rainfall totals ranging from 0.1 to 0.15 inches. While amounts are relatively light, NWS cautioned that heavy downpours during thunderstorms could cause localized flooding, especially near recent burn scars.
