Construction crews to replace drainage pipes along Greene Street by Spokane Community College

SPOKANE, Wash. — If you’re driving in the area of Spokane Community College this week, you might want to give yourself some extra time to get where you’re going due to some ongoing construction.

Starting Monday, September 29, Washington Department of Transportation crews will be working along Greene Street across the Spokane River, between Mission and Carlisle Avenue, to install new drainage pipes and manhole covers.

The work is expected to continue through October 6 and is part of the North Spokane Corridor Spokane River Crossing project, anticipated to be completed in late 2025…
