Spokane, WA – Strong west to southwest winds are sweeping across eastern Washington and parts of north Idaho today, bringing gusts capable of blowing debris and creating hazardous travel conditions, according to the National Weather Service (NWS) Spokane.
Forecasters expect widespread gusts of 35 to 45 mph, with the strongest winds—up to 50 mph—across the Cascades, Blue Mountains, and the Palouse region.
