I SAW YOU
GIRL IN THE PAINTED JACKET — TERRAIN 16: I saw you at Terrain 16. You were absolutely stunning, wearing a hand-painted artwork jacket, your long hair draped across the painted fabric. I noticed a cat figure on the back, but the rest of the details are a blur. Still, the impression you made has stuck with me. My friend and I were in the drink line, standing in front of the walkway to the outdoor music stage. You were trying to make your way to the music when you paused and approached us. You complimented my blue hair braids, then gave a kind word to my friend as well. I asked you about your rad jacket, and you proudly shared that it was your own creation. I didn’t get a chance to ask your name or say more, but I wanted to. I kept looking for you throughout the night but couldn’t find you again. That jacket was one of the coolest things I saw that evening. In that brief moment, you made an impression on me. I’ve asked a few friends if they know who you are, but no one does. So I’m sending this out into the universe, hoping it reaches you. If you see this, I’d love to hear your story. You left a mark I wasn’t expecting. If you feel the same spark of curiosity, you can reach me at [email protected]
RE:RE: THANK GOD FOR ANONYMITY: I’m not sure the response I received was from the person for which it was intended. To the person that responded; I only ask for some clue or detail helpful in revealing to me whether or not it’s you.
ARE THESE YOUR BROWNIES? I didn’t actually see you, but I DID see the six-pack of Cosmic brownies you left on the route 33 bus Wednesday morning. If by any chance you still want them, I’ve left them with the NGTB office in the Hemmingson center at Gonzaga university (though just getting here to pick them up probably costs more than the brownies themselves, so I wouldn’t recommend it). They’ll probably be gone in a few days if nobody takes them, so make sure you act quick!…
