City officials, including Mayor Pam Haley, and project partners attended an event to mark the end of construction. The facility includes loop options for 5K, 6K, 8K, and 10K races. It also has restrooms, a pedestrian pathway, a finish line arch, parking, and a shuttle drop-off area.

Mayor Haley said the project will serve local residents and is expected to bring athletes and spectators from other areas. She mentioned possible economic impacts, such as increased sales tax revenue for local businesses and city services.
