Set back from the busy street on which it resides and shaded by towering trees, Greenwood Memorial Terrace is peaceful in the chilly autumn mornings.
A breeze rustles through the yellowing leaves above and weaves its way around the resolute concrete headstones below. Save the occasional car driving down Government Way; it’s silent amid the hundred-year-old plots.
The grass is damp with morning dew, and soon, parts of it will be excavated to welcome the cemetery’s newest resident…
