Spokane Air Traffic Won’t Be Directly Affected By Gov’t Shutdown

The federal government shutdown is affecting 40 airports across the country directly with a planned reduction. The Federal Aviation Administration announced that they plan to cut air traffic by 10%.

Spokane International Airport released a statement that says they’re not directly affected as one of the 40 chosen sites, but they are part of the national, interconnected airport system. That means flights that may have connected in other airports after leaving Spokane could be affected.
