Woman sentenced to nearly 8 years in prison for shooting a man in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman who shot a man in Spokane earlier this year has been sentenced to nearly eight years in prison.

24-year-old Trinity H. Christenson was sentenced to 93 months in prison for first-degree assault on Friday. The charges stem from a shooting that happened on July 18 in front of a building on East Central Avenue near Division Street.

The Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office says Christenson went to the building and approached a man that she says was drawing pictures and writing about wanting to be with her on buildings and dumpsters and in notebooks and papers…
