SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Public Library warns its services may be modified if city funding doesn’t come through next year.
The city reduced library funding by 5% this year, and next year’s proposed budget keeps that reduction in place. If that budget goes through, Adam Chanse, the library executive director, said the library will be forced to cut back services and hours.
