SPOKANE, Wash. – A pale mist draped over the city before dawn, freezing lightly on rooftops and windshields as temperatures hovered near 32°F. Streetlights reflected off a thin glaze of frost, and drivers along I-90 and U.S. 2 moved cautiously through pockets of freezing fog that turned the Spokane Valley into a soft gray blur.
According to the National Weather Service in Spokane, patchy freezing fog will linger through midmorning before giving way to filtered sunshine.
