Spokane man sentenced to prison in friend’s fentanyl overdose death

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane man was sentenced to prison last week for delivering fentanyl that killed his friend in 2023.

Randy S. Brown, 62, will serve two and a half years in prison after pleading guilty to charges connected to his friend’s fentanyl overdose death, according to the Spokane County Prosecutor’s Office.
