Spokane man sentenced to 25 years in prison for February 2024 shooting

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane man has been sentenced to 25 years in prison for shooting and killing another man in February of last year.

33-year-old Gunnar M. Doughty was found guilty of 2nd degree murder earlier this year. Before the trial, he had also pleaded guilty to unlawful possession of a firearm related to the gun used in the shooting.
