Man faces vehicular homicide charges in deadly Spokane Valley crosswalk crash

SPOKANE, Wash. — A 29-year-old man accused of striking and killing a woman in a Spokane Valley crosswalk faces charges of vehicular homicide and reckless endangerment.

According to the Spokane County Sheriff’s Office, Seth E. Schrammeck was driving south on North Sullivan Road when he struck a woman who was crossing the intersection at East Broadway.

She was pronounced dead at the scene despite life-saving efforts…
