Karen Worthy, a teacher and entrepreneur credited with revitalizing Spokane’s Davenport Hotel, dies at 81

SPOKANE, Wash. — Karen Worthy, an elementary school teacher and local entrepreneur who helped push the revitalization of Spokane’s Davenport Hotel, has died at age 81.

Karen Worthy, born in May 1944, died on Nov. 7 and is survived by her husband of 52 years, Walt Worthy.
