SPOKANE, Wash. — Partners Inland Northwest said Thursday that it is preparing to receive a donation of roughly 40,000 pounds of shelf-stable food from The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to help meet the growing demand.
“What makes this donation so meaningful is the spirit behind it,” said Cal Coblentz, CEO of Partners INW. “When local partners like The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints step up in such a big way, it reminds us that we’re not in this fight alone. Together, we can make sure every family in our community has food on the table.”
The 53-foot semi-truck is scheduled to arrive at Partners INW around 9 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5, carrying 24 pallets of essential items such as pasta, beans, peanut butter, dry milk, flour, and canned goods…
