Man taken into custody in Moses Lake after pointing a gun at a family member

MOSES LAKE, Wash. – Deputies with the Grant County Sheriff’s Office took a man into custody Thursday after he pointed a rifle at a family member and shot several rounds into the ground.

GCSO said in a social media post that the man “suffered a mental health crisis.” His family called 911 after he pointed a gun at a family member inside a home on Dunn Street, and then tossed the gun and drove away.

Deputies located his car and took him into custody “without incident.”…
