Spokane, WA – The National Weather Service in Spokane is warning residents across Eastern Washington and North Idaho to prepare for a wet and windy start to the week, with multiple rounds of rain and strong winds expected from Monday through Wednesday.

Forecasters report southwesterly winds of 20–35 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph possible Monday night into Tuesday across the Columbia Basin, Spokane/Coeur d’Alene area, Palouse, and foothills of the Blue Mountains
