SPOKANE, Wash. — SpokAnimal announced it is closed until further notice due to a respiratory virus that is causing pneumonia among the dogs at its shelter.
SpokAnimal made the announcement Saturday afternoon. The shelter said that an unknown respiratory virus is spreading through the kennel and causing some cases of pneumonia.
Shelter staff are working to supply all possible treatments to the animals during this time…
