SPOKANE, Wash. — Regulation wasn’t enough for Gonzaga and Loyola Marymount in their West Coast Conference opener Sunday afternoon at the McCarthey Athletic Center, as the Zags outlasted the Lions 87-80 in double overtime.
Allie Turner delivered the biggest shot of the first overtime, drilling a 3-pointer with 10 seconds left to tie the game at 75 and force a second extra period.
