Rain taps steadily on rooftops this morning as clouds hang low over eastern Washington. Wet pavement glistens under streetlights, and colder air is already lining up behind the system shaping the first full week of 2026.
According to the National Weather Service, rain continues through today with snow levels lowering from around 5,000 feet toward 3,900 feet by afternoon.
