SPOKANE, Wash. — SpokAnimal euthanized one dog who contracted the virus that has shut down the shelter for weeks now.
The shelter’s executive director, Dori Peck, said it was a 10-year-old dog who had shown signs of improvement, but its health took a turn really fast.
