SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane Valley City Councilmembers voted on Tuesday to elect a new mayor and deputy mayor for the 2026 and 2027 terms.
Councilmember Laura Padden will serve as the new mayor, and Councilmember Tim Hattenburg will serve as deputy mayor.
