Former Spokane Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich delays Wyoming governor bid to 2030

WYOMING, USA — Former Spokane County Sheriff Ozzie Knezovich confirmed with KREM 2 News on Thursday he is postponing his candidacy for governor of Wyoming and plans to launch again for the 2030 Wyoming Governor’s race.

In a Facebook post that’s since been deleted, Knezovich said he missed the citizenship requirement to run by one year.

“Requirement is 5 years consecutive residency prior to the election,” the deleted post said. “Even though we have owned a house/property in Wyoming for 9 year now, born and raised here, went to the University of Wyoming, 36 combined years of living here, served in the Wyoming National Guard I don’t qualify to be Gov.”…
