Spokane double-decker bus collides with railroad bridge; four hospitalized

SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane Transit Authority (STA) double-decker bus hit a railroad bridge on Cedar Street between 1st and 2nd Avenues on Sunday, at 12:14 p.m., according to STA.

STA says the double-decker bus was on Route 6, coming from Cheney to the University District, when it struck the railroad bridge that had a height clearance of 12 feet. The bus is 13’6″.

According to a press release, there were passengers with reported injuries, and four people were taken to the hospital…
