City records show new grocery store planned for Spokane’s South Hill

SPOKANE, Wash. — South Hill residents may soon have a new grocery store option, according to documents obtained by KREM 2 News.

Plans filed with the City of Spokane show a potential grocery store is in the plans along South Regal Street. The land is next to the Mister Car Wash, Maverick gas station, and new Home Depot.

It’s still early in the process, and the project hasn’t yet been approved, but KREM 2 was able to confirm some details.

A Spokane Valley-based architecture firm filed the predevelopment application with the city last month. The preliminary plans show a new 16,000 square foot store, with an estimated project cost of $4.5 million.
