Spokane man arrested after puppy thrown from moving vehicle, police say

SPOKANE, Wash. — Spokane police arrested a man after he allegedly threw a puppy from a moving truck.

According to a Spokane Police Department (SPD) press release, officers responded around 12:40 p.m. Wednesday to reports of an argument between a man and a woman near 5000 North Wall Street. Police said that callers reported an altercation involving a woman in the back of a moving truck who was screaming.

During the 911 call, the woman was heard yelling that a puppy had been thrown from the moving truck. Police later confirmed that an approximately 11-week-old puppy was thrown from the truck…
