SPOKANE, Wash. – The United States has filed a motion for the detention of Brenna Marie Doyle after she was arrested for allegedly threatening an FBI agent and their family, according to an official document from the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Washington.
The arrest, which occurred in Spokane at the request of FBI Minneapolis, followed three disturbing voicemails left by Doyle in which she threatened to kill the agent, his wife and child. The FBI emphasized that threats against law enforcement officers and their families would not be tolerated.
The motion for detention was filed under 18 U.S.C. § 3142(e) and (f), citing a serious risk of obstruction of justice.
