SPOKANE, Wash. — A Spokane non-profit is asking for donations for one of its storage areas after it was flooded.
On Tuesday morning, a car crashed into a power pole and a fire hydrant near West Roman Avenue and Fleming in Spokane.
It knocked out power for 300 people in the area and water from the hydrant flooded the Morning Star Baptist Church basement, where the non-profit stores blankets and comforters for three of their five scattered site shelters, operated by Jewel’s Helping Hands…
