Suspect arrested for allegedly waving gun, crashing into patrol car during Spokane pursuit

Spokane, WASH. — A man who allegedly led police on a chase through Spokane near Spokane Falls Community College was arrested and went before a judge for the first time today.

According to court documents, Spokane Police responded to reports that someone fired a shot toward North Central High School Wednesday around 4 p.m. There’s no indication anyone was hit. Police say he was seen waving a handgun from his truck in multiple locations.

Witnesses gave police a truck description and license plate number. Police were able to track down Carl Lindsey, 48, and stopped him near the Heritage Funeral and Cremation on Government Way. Multiple officers gave him commands, but then Lindsey sped off. Documents confirm police were in a pursuit of the suspect, and officers say at one point the truck was driving 80 mph…
