SPOKANE, Wash. — PlanSpokane 2046 is a comprehensive plan meant to guide how the city manages growth over the next 20 years, but some groups are concerned about how the plan may impact the environment.
Over the next two decades, the city projects that more than 23,000 new residents will move to Spokane, driving the need for more than 22,000 additional housing units.
