When Kevin Fagan graduated from Gonzaga University in 2021, he had never considered running for student government, much less public office. Now, almost five years later, Fagan is running for Representative of Washington’s 5th Congressional District, which includes Spokane, hoping to provide a listening ear for constituents.
“I am running to create a more affordable and livable future for this district … that looks like repairing some of the damage that has been done by this current [presidential] administration by restoring cuts to Medicaid, Affordable Care Act subsidies to lower prices, removing tariffs that make grocery prices more expensive and building housing,” Fagan said. “[It’s also creating] policies that really build the future that we want to create, and that we deserve.”…
