SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash — Authorities are continuing to investigate a deadly hit-and-run crash that happened early Saturday morning near Desmet Avenue in Spokane Valley.
According to initial information from law enforcement and emergency radio traffic, the crash occurred around 1:30 a.m. near the intersection of Pines Road and Desmet Avenue. First responders were dispatched after reports of an adult patient down in the roadway, blocking multiple lanes, with CPR in progress.
According to the Washington State Patrol, investigators say a truck traveling northbound on Pines Road struck a pedestrian and fled the scene in an unknown direction.
