A golf course may not be the first place that comes to mind when thinking of fine dining, but think again, as the scenic Kalispel Golf and Country Club in far northwest Spokane is home to 1898 Public House. Executive chef Blake Kaba sees her kitchen as a second home. As such, she works hard to protect that culture, choosing staff that she knows share her passion for bringing fresh, elevated dishes to diners.
