MEAD, Wash. — Spokane County Fire District 9 will begin offering independent ambulance services July 1, after securing a license from Washington’s Department of Health.
The district applied for the Trauma Verified Ambulance Transport License late last year. After an eight-month process, SCFD9 announced it secured the license Tuesday, allowing it to deliver “high-quality, affordable emergency medical transport services to the community.”
