Over the past few years, Spokane Public Schools has partnered with CHAS Health to open clinics inside nearly all of the district’s high schools. This week another clinic opened at Logan Elementary School, however, it’s the first school-based clinic in the district supported by Washington State University.
In fact, the Logan Family Clinic is the first university-operated, off-campus health center in WSU history.
“With the Logan Family Clinic, we’re making quality health care easier to reach and closer to home,” WSU President Betsy Cantwell stated on Feb. 26. “Partnering with Spokane Public Schools allows us to serve families right in their neighborhood, marking an important milestone for WSU and the communities we’re here to support.”…
