Firefighters who resuscitated dog after house fire receive grateful message from family

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — Spokane Valley Fire Department (SVFD) saved a family dog while responding to a house fire on Sunday, March 1. They performed life-saving care and were able to resuscitate the dog on scene. This week, the family reached out to SVFD with a message.

According to the Facebook post, the family was terrified about the fate of their pet when they found out about the fire, but are “incredibly grateful for the compassion and care the firefighters showed throughout the entire situation.”
