ASOTIN — Asotin County Judge Brooke Burns rejected a Wyoming woman’s request to have her trial moved to Spokane.
Phyllis Krogman’s attorney said pre-trial publicity would negatively affect her client’s chances for a fair trial here, but the judge didn’t agree. The defendant’s trial for conspiracy and attempted murder will take place May 6-8 in Asotin.
