SPOKANE, Wash. — A woman was hurt Tuesday night after a walkway fell about 20 feet, the Spokane Fire Department says.
Engine 9 from the Cannon Hill neighborhood responded at 11:24 Tuesday night for a reported walkway collapse at an apartment building at 112 East Rockwood Blvd. Upon learning one person was hurt, the response was upgraded to a Technical Rescue Incident.
A woman had an apparent leg injury, SFD said. Firefighters quickly stabilized and packaged the patient for hospital transport, then evaluated the structure to ensure no further risk of collapse…
