The cold front that brought the strong winds on Wednesday night primed the atmosphere for snow to fall this morning. Spokane and Coeur d’Alene are under a Winter Weather Advisory with 2-4 inches of snow expected in the area. Be prepared for slick conditions for the morning commute.
A transition from snow to rain is expected later in the morning into early afternoon as temperatures warm. Highs will reach the 40s across most of the region.
