SPOKANE, Wash. – City officials announced on Thursday that construction work for the traffic safety improvement project to install a “J-turn” at the intersection of Meadowlane Road and U.S. 195 will begin on Monday, March 23.
The project, expected to conclude towards the end of July, will also include the construction of acceleration and deceleration lanes to improve safety, reduce traffic congestion and prepare the area for future growth.
Additionally, a new sidewalk will be constructed along South Meadowlane Road, between Eagle Ridge Boulevard and Turner Avenue, to “enhance pedestrian safety.”…
