Avista to conduct natural resources survey by helicopter

SPOKANE COUNTY, Wash. — Avista will be conducting two days of natural resource surveys by helicopter on Thursday and Friday, March 26-27, as part of an ongoing environmental monitoring effort within the Spokane River Watershed.

Weather permitting, the helicopter will be flying as low as 250 feet above ground between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Avista assures that the work is necessary to “safely and efficiently collect information across a wide geographic area,” according to the press release…
