16-year-old suspect arrested, victim identified from Sunday’s shooting in Spokane

SPOKANE, Wash. — The man who died in a Spokane shooting on Sunday on East Wellesley Avenue has been identified as 44-year-old Dylan K. Bundy-Gray. He was a father to four young boys.

Bundy-Gray’s family said in court that he was defending a young woman from being harassed.

Spokane Police confirmed a 16-year-old suspect has been arrested for the crimes of 2nd degree murder and 1st degree assault. The alleged shooter is 16, but because he’s being charged as an adult and because of the serious nature of the crime we’re using his name.
