SPOKANE, Wash. – A staff elevator at Sacred Heart Hospital came to a controlled stop twice in one week, prompting the hospital to take the elevator out of service while officials investigate.
The elevator, which is used only by staff and not accessible to the public, stopped once on Friday, March 27 and once earlier that week.
