SPOKANE, Wash. – Seattle Pacific University delivered a standout performance at the Whitworth Peace Meet in Spokane, Wash., on Friday, highlighted by a record-breaking run from the men’s 4×400-meter relay team that shattered the school mark by nearly four seconds.

“We had an exciting day in Spokane capped off with a school record-breaking men’s 4×4,” head coach Karl Lerum said. “We had big improvements across event groups, with our sprinters led by big PBs in the 400m from Brooke Mosby, Jada Sarrys, and Ben Rojas. On the distance side, Avery Erickson had a lifetime best in the steeple, and Alexa Gossett had an insane 40-second improvement to run 17:10 in the 5k.”…
