Indians walk off Everett, 10-9, to take game and opening series

SPOKANE, Wash. – Caleb Hobson’s sacrifice bunt mixed with a Calvin Schapira error lifted the Spokane Indians to a 10-9, extra-inning walk-off win despite blowing a late 8-1 lead.

Ethan Hedges and Jacob Humphrey both hit their first home runs of the season to hold a 2-1 Spokane edge, and a Juan Castillo double and a Humphrey single extended the lead to three going into the fifth inning.

Robert Calaz hit his first homer of the year and Hedges hit his second of the day in the fifth, and a Max Belyeu triple rounded out that 8-1 lead…
