Spokane Valley gets 1,700 stuffed animals for kids in crises

SPOKANE VALLEY, Wash. — According to the Spokane Valley Fire Department, Spokane Valley Kiwanis and Liberty Lake Kiwanis donated 1,700 stuffed animals to the Spokane Valley Fire Department and Spokane Valley Police Department.

Firefighters and officers will use the stuffed animals to help comfort local children during emergency calls.
